Short Bio

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz - UESC (2013), Master and Ph.D. degrees (2015 and 2019) in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG. He was professor at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto - UFOP (2019-2022). Currently, he is Professor at Universidade Federal da Bahia - UFBA (2022-present). His main research interest areas are Computer Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Mobile computing, Ubiquitous computing, Software Defined Networks (SDN), 5G Networks, Distributed systems/algorithms, Parallel computing/programming, Cyber-physical systems, software, and tools.

Personal

I’m originally from the best city of the entire world (rsrs) Jequié!!!. I like so much Ilhéus and Belo Horizonte as well. Besides academic interests, I enjoy:

• Travel and meet people
• Programming and related
  • I have some skills in several programming lang. For intance, R, C, CUDA, Java, Bash, Python, TinyOS (C-Like), little bit of Pearl, and others.
    • I’ve understood since 2009 that research requires statistical and programming tools. So, I recommend two languages R and Python.
